You don’t make it clear that these companies charge a subscription fee on top of the cost of the cost of the course. Not cheap!!!

I was interested to find this article as I am considering becoming a proofreader and was looking for recommendations of short courses I can do to get an idea of whether it’s for me or not. I watched the first video of the first recommendation and cannot watch any more. I can’t get past the fact that what he says is not necessarily what comes up in the subtitles – they don’t make sense quite a lot of the time and I then get distracted trying to work out what it should have said and miss what he’s actually saying. I think I’ll have a look at some of the others.

Hello
I was considering doing Proofread Anywhere course but it is about $379, do you think it is worth paying that much money for the course? I do not have a lot of spare cash so am bit concerned about the genuine side of the course.
I will appreciate your thoughts on this, in the meantime I will enrol for one of the short courses above.
